CALL FOR ART
The Sugar Hill Arts Commission is looking for original artwork for a Juried Art Show that will run in conjunction with Sugar Hill’s two-day Sugar Rush Arts Festival on October 17 and 18, 2026!

• DROP-OFF:  9/15 – 9/18
• ON DISPLAY: 9/24 – 11/15
• PICK-UP:  11/19 – 11/20

CASH PRIZES

• BEST IN SHOW: $500
• SECOND PLACE: $250
• THIRD PLACE: $100
• PEOPLE’S CHOICE: $50

INTERESTED IN SHOWCASING? HERE ARE THE GUIDELINES:

• 3 works per artist may be submitted for a $25 fee.
• All work must be original.
• Up to 4 additional pieces can be submitted for a fee of $5 each for a total of 7 submittals.
• Permitted work includes:
  • paintings
  • photography
  • mixed media
  • ceramic
  • textiles
  • sculptures
• All hanging items must be pre-configured to hang.
• No sawtooth brackets will be accepted
• The Sugar Hill Arts Commission will retain 15% of the sale price for any artwork sold.

DEADLINES

• Submit by: End of Day 7/7
• Selection notices to be sent: 7/18
• Artwork ready for display: Week of 9/29
• Awards Announcements: 10/17

• High-res PDF or JPGs
• Include:
  • Artist name
  • Artwork title
  • Year created
  • Medium
  • Dimensions
  • Price
  • Information about the artwork
  • Any website or social media links
