Soak in your love for the arts at the city’s 8th Annual Sugar Rush Festival on October 15 & 16! The Sugar Rush Arts Festival is an outdoor event located in Downtown Sugar Hill featuring visual and performing arts, food, music, history, and family fun. Spend the day in Sugar Hill on Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and catch a free, general admission concert at The Bowl. Then, go home and get some rest because Sugar Rush’s festivities open back up again for day two on Sunday, noon – 6 p.m.

Festivalgoers can watch talented, young, local artists live paint for the duration of the festival. In addition to DIY crafts for all to bring home, Sugar Rush will have a juried art show representing local, regional, and international talent. 50 artists will have their mixed media artwork on display at Sugar Hill’s Art Gallery during festival hours on Saturday and Sunday. After viewing the artwork, take a stroll down West Broad St. to shop over 70 local art, food, and business vendors
